That’s not a slogan. It’s a fact.
And it’s what I want to leave you with tonight — because this week, you proved it.
Because of our collective outrage, organizing, and relentless storytelling, the Trump administration reversed two deeply troubling decisions:
After deciding to remove any mention of Donald Trump’s two impeachments from its exhibit on presidential accountability, the Smithsonian reversed course — because of your pressure. My TikTok videos on this reached millions, and many of you picked up the phone, posted, and made noise. It worked.
Earlier today, I reported that the Trump administration was conditioning disaster relief funds on whether cities boycotted Israeli businesses. If a city boycotted Israel? No disaster aid. By tonight, after national outrage, that policy is gone.
You can call them “wins” if you want. I’m not here to tally the scoreboard.
But I am here to say this: truth, journalism, and public accountability still matter.
When we tell these stories loudly and unapologetically, leaders are forced to act.
And that’s what this platform — this community — is here to do. I need your help to keep doing it.
These conversations are only happening because of your support.

Tomorrow, I’m hosting two major interviews — both only happening because of your support.
At noon, I’ll be live on Substack with a major 2028 Democratic presidential contender.
Yes — that big. I can’t share who yet, but it’s someone who will shape the national conversation in the years ahead.
Then in the afternoon, I’ll be interviewing Texas Representative James Talarico, one of the most thoughtful and courageous voices in the Texas legislature, as we dive into:
These are the conversations that don’t happen on cable news. They happen here — with you, with this community, with independent journalism that refuses to be silenced or softened.
This work isn’t passive. It’s powerful.
And you’ve made it possible.
You’ve given me the best job in the world. I will never take that for granted.
Let’s keep going. Let’s keep pushing. Let’s keep telling the truth — louder than ever.
In solidarity,
Aaron
