Major Epstein Update: Survivor Told FBI Maxwell "Presented" Her to Trump and Made Clear She Was "Available"

Good evening, everyone. I am continuing to review the Epstein files and have already worked through tens of thousands of documents, with more to go. This will likely be my final update for the evening as I work overnight to get through the remaining material. There is a lot to process.

Side note: One of the reasons I hated being a lawyer was document review, having to go through millions of documents in discovery. That work has come in very handy today.

I am currently in constant contact with members of Congress, survivors, and others. This is a full and determined effort to bring you the truth. I will never stop fighting to ensure that survivors’ voices remain front and center.

I will be sharing additional findings tonight and throughout the weekend as I continue to analyze and verify what is contained in these files. If you are able, please consider subscribing to support this work and help sustain the focus required for this level of scrutiny. It takes time, resources, and stamina. I cannot do this alone, and your support makes this reporting possible.

Epstein Files Review:

  • The U.S. Department of Justice said it will withhold or heavily redact about 200,000 pages of Jeffrey Epstein files, citing attorney-client, deliberative process, work product, and other legal privileges.
  • Justice further said newly released Jeffrey Epstein files include unverified tips submitted to the Federal Bureau of Investigation that contain “untrue and sensationalist claims” against Donald Trump, stressing the allegations are unfounded and were publicly released only because the law required disclosure of all material sent to the FBI, including false or uncorroborated submissions.
  • Epstein survivors blasted the DOJ in a statement sent to me:
  • In an interview with FBI agents, a survivor told agents that Ghislaine Maxwell "presented" her to Donald Trump, making clear she was "available." The survivor further said that nothing happened between her and Donald Trump. The statement further says that she felt as though it was the same way Maxwell "presented" her to Epstein. You can find the full document here.
  • An Federal Bureau of Investigation memo says a witness told investigators in June 2020 about former Trump adviser Steve Bannon’s “relationship with Jeffrey Epstein,” but was hesitant to provide details, citing Bannon’s friendships with powerful people. Full memo here.
  • Newly released 2011 emails show Jeffrey Epstein and someone appearing to be Ghislaine Maxwell strategizing over allegations by a woman who said she worked at Mar-a-Lago, with Epstein asking how Donald Trump might respond and Maxwell replying, “I thought you said not to involve Donald,” in exchanges that align with claims later publicly made by Virginia Giuffre; Trump has denied wrongdoing and has not been accused by law enforcement. Here is the full email.
  • In Oct. 2014, Kathy Ruemmler, then former White House Counsel to Barack Obama, emailed Jeffrey Epstein a draft statement declining consideration for U.S. Attorney General and asked for his feedback; Epstein suggested minor edits, Ruemmler later publicly declined the role (apparently without using the draft), has since said she regrets knowing Epstein, denies representing him, and now serves as chief legal officer at Goldman Sachs, which did not comment. Here is the full document.
  • Newly released U.S. Department of Justice emails show Jeffrey Epstein connected Steve Tisch, chairman and co-owner of the New York Giants, with multiple women in 2013, sending “scouting” descriptions and discussing whether women were “pro or civilian,” while emails from women referenced meetings with Tisch and possible help with acting careers; Tisch did not respond to requests for comment.
  • Emails show Howard Lutnick corresponded through intermediaries and planned meetings with Jeffrey Epstein in 2011–2012, including discussions of visits and a Caribbean meeting, despite Lutnick’s public claim that he cut off all contact after 2005 and vowed never to be in the same room with Epstein again.
  • Newly released U.S. Department of Justice Epstein files include an Federal Bureau of Investigation form summarizing a 1994 allegation by an anonymous “Jane Doe” accusing Donald Trump of raping her at age 13 and alleging abuse by Jeffrey Epstein as well; the claims mirror a lawsuit she filed and later dropped before the 2016 election, Trump has denied the allegations. Here is the document.
  • Emails show Elon Musk exchanged messages with Jeffrey Epstein in 2012–2013 attempting to coordinate visits to Epstein’s Caribbean islands—discussing timing, travel logistics, and a “wildest party”—despite Musk later saying he had “REFUSED” such invitations; it remains unclear whether any visit occurred.
  • Former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak and his wife Nili Priel stayed multiple times at a New York apartment owned by Jeffrey Epstein, with correspondence detailing logistical coordination (cleaning, cable/Apple TV setup, visits and meetings) and underscoring the closeness of their relationship years after Epstein’s 2008 conviction, which Barak says involved no improper conduct. Here is the full document.
  • New notes recount that Efrain Reyes, Jeffrey Epstein’s cellmate at the Metropolitan Correctional Center, begged him not to kill himself days before Epstein died by suicide in August 2019, describing Epstein’s assurances and how he leveraged wealth and legal threats to receive special treatment while in custody. Click here to see the notes.
  • Files suggest Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor attended an intimate dinner at Jeffrey Epstein’s New York home in December 2010, months after Epstein’s prison release and despite Andrew’s claim the trip was to sever ties, with emails indicating guest invitations, continued contact via Ghislaine Maxwell, and social coordination that undercut his public account.
  • Emails suggest Jeffrey Epstein sent thousands of pounds in bank transfers after his 2009 prison release to Reinaldo Avila da Silva, the husband of Peter Mandelson, to help fund an osteopathy course and expenses, raising further questions about Mandelson’s continued association with Epstein after his conviction, which Mandelson has since publicly apologized for.

Other News:

  • Don Lemon has been released from custody without bail after being arrested this morning by the Trump Justice Department. Georgia Fort was also released from custody earlier today.
  • The U.S. Department of Justice has opened a federal civil rights investigation into the fatal shooting of Alex Pretti, a 37-year-old ICU nurse killed by federal agents in Minneapolis, with Todd Blanche saying the circumstances warrant scrutiny; the Federal Bureau of Investigation is now leading the probe amid public backlash, conflicting accounts, and escalating rhetoric from Donald Trump.
  • Mass protests have broken out across the country, especially in Minneapolis:
  • Catherine O’Hara, the beloved comedy star known for Home Alone, Schitt’s Creek, and Beetlejuice, died at 71 after a brief illness, leaving behind a five-decade career spanning SCTV, Christopher Guest films, and an Emmy-winning late-career renaissance.
