Donald Trump is now directing the Department of Justice to reopen the federal investigation into Jeffrey Epstein to target prominent Democrats and institutions. Trump’s demand arrives despite the fact that his own Justice Department and the FBI previously concluded that they found no credible evidence linking other individuals to Epstein’s crimes, and as he desperately wants the public to stop talking about his own links to Epstein.
This White House is in a panic mode, and now more than ever, we need to hold their feet to the fire to get the truth. Trump wants to distract the American public away from his own associations. I will not let that happen. Subscribe to support my work as I continue reporting what the White House does not want you to hear.

Donald Trump has frequently referred to the broader Epstein case as a hoax, even though his administration oversaw an extensive internal review. That review examined investigative files, video footage, witness statements, and forensic evidence. It resulted in a written memo that found no proof of a secret client list and no verified information supporting allegations that Epstein trafficked victims to additional named individuals. This memo, as you know, has since been scrutinized and was simply an effort to steer the public away from demanding full disclosure of the files. It did not work.
But, despite the findings from his own administration, Trump is now urging a new inquiry that focuses only on Democrats. He is specifically pushing investigators to examine former President Bill Clinton, former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, businessman Reid Hoffman, and financial institutions including J. P. Morgan and Chase. Trump is also urging investigators to avoid examining Republicans who had any historical connection, real or alleged, to Epstein. Republicans, including himself.
It is important to acknowledge a simple reality. Accountability should not depend on political identity. If Epstein had accomplices, regardless of whether they were Republicans, Democrats, or independents, the public deserves answers. What is happening now, however, is a president publicly demanding an investigation that targets only one party while dismissing prior findings from his own federal agencies.
Just minutes ago, President Trump posted the following message on Truth Social.

The president’s statement conflicts directly with prior testimony from high-ranking officials in his own administration. Earlier this year, a Justice Department memo stated that investigators found no evidence of a client list or a conspiracy involving additional named individuals. The memo also reported that the department had reviewed extensive video footage that supported the conclusion that Epstein died by suicide.

Kash Patel, who later became FBI Director under Trump, delivered sworn testimony on Capitol Hill during the same period. When asked by Senator John Kennedy, “Who, if anyone, did Epstein traffic these young women to,” Patel responded, “There is no credible information, none, that he trafficked to other individuals.”
That statement directly contradicted public arguments Patel made in media interviews in 2023. In one exchange, he suggested the FBI was withholding information about Epstein’s alleged associates and stated that a so called black book was under the control of the FBI Director.
Those comments were made before Patel assumed leadership of the bureau.
Trump’s new demands are nothing more than an attempt to shift attention away from his own associations and placing political pressure uniquely on Democrats.
The American public deserves clarity on the Epstein case, clarity based on evidence rather than partisan aims. Many questions remain unresolved. The country needs transparency, and it needs investigations that follow facts rather than political directives.
The nation is once again confronting a major controversy. The American people, and especially, the survivors, deserve answers. Right now, this White House, and htis President, are not providing them.
